DIY Spooky Decor

I walked my dog around my neighborhood today and was impressed with some of the decorations out there in the nearby world! Of course, you can just go to the store and buy piles of giant spiders (and I am WAY into this style!) but a few folks around me spent a little time and did a little work with their hands or their heads to make their yards look spooky! I salute them!

This neighbor (above) made a paper mache witch in a black dress and wig and hung her from the tree! And check out the vignette in the window! Black pumpkin cutout and spooky hands! High Five!

Always classic and so spooky simple: little fabric ghosts floating around the tree!

Not so Spooky, but darn Festive!

This neighbor placed some pumpkins and acorn squash in their succulent garden out front. I dig it!

This neighbor stuck some plastic bones into the dirt of their yard. EEEEK! Very effectively spooky to me and my dog walking by!!!

Hurray for all the folks everywhere making their yards, and dooors and houses a bit dressed up this month! I am REALLY appreciating the festivity and I am sure others are too!!!

Creepy Breakfast!

Why must Halloween night get all of the fun? How about Halloween BREAKFAST!? Here is another addition to the edible EYEBALL genre: Eyeball Eggs! Just fry two eggs, place an olive slice and a pea on the yolk for the iris and pupil, and squirt some hot sauce or ketchup on the whites to resemble bloodshot veins! EYE LOVE IT!
