Game Night

Morris' Exciting Game!

Morris' Exciting Game!

Try this activity on for size for your next game night: MAKE YOUR OWN!  Draw out a board (good idea to sketch it out first) on a piece of cardboard or poster paper. The idea is to make a sort of pathway that players can follow by rolling two dice (or one die! Its YOUR rules). To make your game exciting add ladders, skateboards, water falls, comet tails, etc. that players have to zoom on if they land there. Also add special squares that can make the player that lands on them do different things (get stuck for a turn, have to jump up and down and sing a song, get to advance 5 squares, what-have-you!) Really open up your imagination, and make your game as wild as you dare!

The game pictured above was made by my great friend, Morris. Doesn't it look super fun?! High Five, Morris! See you on Game Night!!!!

More Magic

Would ya look at that??

Would ya look at that??

I saw this today. I laughed! I smiled! Who made this??? Who put it up in the world for others to marvel at? I love them, whoever they are! I love a little magic in my coffee in the morning!, don't you??

Look at this too!

Look at this too!

And while I am on a roll, just a reminder....the above picture is magical too! I saw it on the same day as the Flying Pig flyer. A dandelion puff is a chance at a wish! A WISH! A MAGICAL WISH! So don't just stop at the Flying Pig poster when you are walking down the magical street. Stop here too! Hurray!

Remember that Crocheted Oyster Bar I had a few months ago? Did you ever wonder about the oysters folks bought and what they might be doing now? Well, I have heard about a few. Half a dozen are residing in Palm Springs! I do hope they are on ice. And I just received the snap shots above. Awww...home at last!
