Here we are in the most glorious of seasons! The one that is pink and green! The one where the baby bunnies and birdies are born! These nests are easy to make and can be formed into any size. Make tiny ones and put them on springtime cupcakes! Place the cupcakes on a big pretty flowering branch in the middle of your table and make your friends jump up and down because its SPRINGTIME!!!! YAYYYYYYY!!!!

      Bird's Nests

  • cooking oil
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 Tbs butter (plus 1 tsp for your hands)
  • 4 cups chow mein noodles
  • yogurt covered almonds or jelly beans

Line a cookie sheet with foil. Coat with cooking oil. In a saucepan, melt the marshmallows and butter together over medium heat. Stir until smooth. Put the noodles in a large bowl. Pour marshmallows over the noodles. Stir until well-coated. Rub butter on your clean hands and form a ball out of the mixture. Place on sheet and press center down with back of wooden spoon to make nest shape. Continue with the rest of the mixture. Let the nests set until firm. Fill with almonds or jelly beans.
